LINKLE MOD

I am currently the leader of a project to adapt the popular Linkle mod from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild  for its sequel, Tears of the Kingdom, which replaces the protagonist Link with a female counterpart. Me and my small team have updated the anatomy of Linkle, and I have designed most of the new armor sets, a few of which are showcased above. This project has already taught me a lot about the workflow of game development, as I have had to learn how to work within an existing game environment, and develop textures, normal maps, specular maps, ambient occlusion maps, and the like. It was also a great lesson in working within the limitations of hardware and modeling items in a lower-poly style. Our ideas for the adaptation are ambitious, and include reanimating the cutscenes featuring Link. It has been an incredible experience thus far, and has also taught me a lot about interacting with a game community to communicate updates and source beta testers.

ANIMATED CHARACTER DESIGN

A character made in blender from scratch using vertex modeling, not sculpting. It was a painfully long process, but I learned a ton from it, especially about 3d topography and texture creation.

TINY HOUSE DESIGN

A quick 3D model of a little house design I thought would look very cute, with added grassy hill and background HDR. Made to visualize the design in a somewhat realistic way.

MANGA 3D ANIMATION

This video was my means of learning blender. I watched an animation of a particular scene from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and decided I would learn to recreate it. So I ripped characters from a game, completely retextured them, learned how to rig them, made a moving ocean and a custom cartoon shader, animated everything, and had to hand-animate over the last few seconds for you effect you see. It was incredibly educational and much of what I know about blender and specifically shaders comes from this project
